PETALING JAYA: Animals can be faithful and loving companions and this was no different for the late actress-singer Adibah Noor,who was known to be a big cat lover.
Following her sudden passing on June 18, however, there were concerns over what would happen to the cats under her care.

These worries were quashed when Adibah’s personal assistant, who is only known Cik Todd, said the animals would be cared for by her and Adibah’s family.
“The cats owned by Adibah will be under my care and also that of her family members. Do not fall for anything that says otherwise regarding the well-being of the cats,” Cik Todd said in a tweet on Adibah’s Twitter account on June 20.

The tweet received positive reactions from social media users with many expressing relief on the matter.
On June 18, Malaysia was shocked by the news of the celebrity’s sudden passing.

It was reported that the 51-year-old had passed away after a battle with ovarian cancer.
Her remains were then laid to rest at the Taman Keramat Permai Muslim Cemetery the next day.

The burial was attended by her father, Mohamed Omar Zainal Abidin, 87, relatives, and more than 100 close friends.
