Charges were never filed, but the civil case is set to resume in February, according to the Morning News.
A year earlier, in 2019, Elliott’s father Stacy El-Muhammad was charged in Ohio for owning a serval, an illegal African cat, which allegedly attacked a neighbor’s pet dog before being shot dead by police. He pleaded not guilty in the case and most of the charges were either reduced or dismissed, according to Fairfield County (Ohio) records.
