Mystery abounds after reports of pregnant Dachshund dog thrown from car along a lane on the outskirts of Cheltenham.
Signs fixed on to gates in Chargrove Lane, near Up Hatherley, claim to have seen the small black and white Dachshund-type dog thrown from a car in nearby Cold Pool Lane last Sunday (November 7).
The signs report the dog was heavily pregnant and are asking people to keep a lookout for the animal, although there is no contact name or number on the signs.

The picture seen on Spotted: Cheltenham’s Facebook page and subsequently shared across message boards and posts, has been widely commented on, although it is still not known whether it is genuine or not.
Some of the comments offer advice on how people can help, with one dog owner offering to search the area with her working Cocker spaniel.
Others decry how anyone could carry out such a despicable act.
So far, though, no one has yet seen the dog.
