I write this piece in the hopes it can bring more awareness to people who don’t know animal testing still exists. You see I have had beagles my entire life (I blame my parents for my obsession with them). I got my first beagle Al from a breeder as a child. It wasn’t till I got my former beagle Archie Warren over two years ago did I realize animal testing was still happening.
I remember stumbling across photos of beagles having horrible things attached to them and I saw That the University of Georgia got 26 beagles that were being eaten alive by flies and vocalizing in pain during those experiments. I was in utter shock, after seeing all those photos and crying my eyes out as not long before that I put my dog to sleep due to his IVDD back pain, did I realize just what was happening. I did more research and what I found put me on a mission. Dr Fauci and his NIAD Dept paid for those beagles and many more to get horrid experiments done to them for money.
These experiments involve shoving toxins down their throats, giving them heart attacks, getting eaten alive by sandflies, making them inhale smoke while taping their mouths shut and the list goes on and on. I was even more livid when I called relentlessly and the man I spoke with said “the benefits out-way the cost”. My mind was blown even more. I also listened to a podcast where the owner of Beagle Freedom Project spoke up about that horrible experiments as she and her team tried so hard to get them released but with no avail.
My next mission was to find out where these beagles came from and that is when I found a drone video from years ago that SHARK (Showing Animals Respect and Kindness), it was from a facility in Cumberland, VA where beagles were being bred for this research, the more I saw it the more angry I got. How could anyone hurt these sweet babies for outdated, painful, useless experiments? Well simple, they are kind, gentle, docile dogs who don’t bite or fight back that is why beagles are used in research. What I was not aware was that this facility was not the only one. Yes, it is now being closed, but Envigo and their partner company Inotiv own many others one is in the U.K just like Marshall Bioresources does, another facility owned in the U.K and over the world. The main base of that one is in NYC. People are afraid to expose these places but I am not which is why I am writing this article, to bring more awareness to them.
Amazing protestors in the U.K are trying so hard to shut the MBR facility down, even with all the horrid drone footage of the abuse they have not had any luck. They have reached out to the Government, the media and so many more political figures, yet they are met with silence. You see Impex is a company in the U.K that drives these sweet dogs from MBR and most likely the Envigo facility to their deaths, but the government in the U.K has not stepped in, they continue to turn a blind eye to the abuse that those beagles go through. We as a nation have to do better by these animals, the fact that animal testing is still going on is horrible. The reason I am writing this article is to make people aware that yes it is still going on and there are specific facilities like MBR and Envigo / Inotiv that breed sweet beagles for it, just for money. Animal genetics are NOT like human genetics which is why they fail when they get to human trials. Animal testing does not work, that is an actual fact. We have to be their voice and save them, we have to do better and shut these places down, enough is enough. I and many others like camp beagle in the U.K won’t rest until every cage is empty from these concentration camps for dogs because that is what they are. They get tattoos when they are born, they get starved, abused, neglected and killed. It is the reality of animal testing and we have to stop it.
