AN online advert advertising a Yorkie pup for rehoming has been called out as a possible scam by locals.
The social media post appeared in Facebook community group ‘ Everything Inverclyde’ and it attracted several responses from hopefuls looking to adopt the animal.
However, users were quick to point out that similar adverts had been posted elsewhere by the same person, with some reporting that the alleged scammer had asked for £150 to secure the pooch before cutting off contact.
The Tele got in touch the individual behind the posts, who refused to answer on the alleged scam claims.
